Hi there! I can’t wait to get to know more about you and your family poolside! I’m a former Kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mom to 2 wild boys and am incredibly thankful to be sharing my love of caretaking with you! I have my Masters in Early Childhood Education, and understanding the needs and development of each individual child is extremely important to me as you will see throughout your child’s journey of swimming and floating! My goal is to instill and build MIGHTY CONFIDENCE with your little one with every session we complete together! This past year I was fortunate to learn and grow as an instructor at Otterly Safe in Fredericksburg and after teaching over 70 babies and kids in my first year, I felt ready to branch out and open Mighty Floaters! After having babies who are constantly near the water, it has become a necessity to make sure my loved ones understand the importance of survival swim safety and I cannot wait to share this passion with all of you!

If you’re on the fence about doing ISR, we say go for it. Being around water brings our family so much joy and being confident that our little one could perform life-saving skills in the face of an emergency is something that brings us so much peace of mind. Water safety is nothing to compromise on and we are so glad that we did ISR with Coach Allysa. From the moment we walked through the door, she was so warm, welcoming, and encouraging. I have nothing but great things to say about Coach Allysa! She was outstanding with my kids, age 2 and 5. Water safety is a huge priority to me and hearing success stories about ISR made me pursue that for them. My 5 year old is moderately autistic so the one-on-one attention he got made him even more successful and confident in learning to swim and float in 6 weeks. Allysa was incredibly sweet, patient, and encouraging to my kids. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who wants to have their little ones learn to swim and be safe in the water.
